The first stop is the 19th-century New Sigulda Castle, previously belonging to Prince Kropotkin of Livonia. Afterwards, pay a visit to the nearby restored ruins of the Old Castle of the Livonian Crusader Order, dating back to the 13th century. Continue the tour for a scenic drive along the banks of the Gauja river to Gutman’s Cave, associated with the legendary romantic tragedy of Turaida Rose.
The next stop along the tour is the 13th-century Turaida Castle and its Museum Reserve. Enjoy some free time and take a walk through the fascinating museum before boarding the bus to Krimulda – the mystic place of ancient Livs. Visit an 800-year-old church and wander through the labyrinth of "Lily" before continuing to Ragana (The Yard of the Witch) for some beautiful photos followed by a traditional Latvian dinner served with fresh Latvian beer.
