Embark on an unforgettable 3-day journey from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang on a slow boat voyage from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang,Laos.
Set out on a three-day journey through the picturesque landscapes of Northern Thailand and Laos with the Chiang Mai 3 Days 2 Nights Slow Boat to Luang Prabang tour.
The adventure begins in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and takes travelers on a scenic route to Huay Xai, Laos, where they’ll spend the first night.(Accommodation included) You have to do the Visa in arrival at Laos boarder around 40USD or around 1,800 Thaibaht.( Visa fee excluded).We offer the bus across the boarder to all customer.
The Thai driver will bring all of you to the office in Chiang Khong Boarder first before you across the boarder.You will get the sticker in your hand to show the Laos greater in the boarder who will take care of you,guide you to do some paper and bring you to the Van to the hotel at Huay Xay,Laos that you will stay overnight there.
On day two, the Laos greater will bring you to the pier and she will give you the boat ticket that show the number of the slow boat that you will go along the river to Pakbeng. Guests will board a slow boat down the Mekong River to Pakbeng, where they’ll stay overnight.(Accommodation is excluded) Please book the room at Pakbeng in advanced.The boat will depart Pakbeng pier at Day 3 around 9 am in the morning,please go to the pier early for your seat.
The Third day,the final leg of the journey on day three leads to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang.
Along the way, travelers can enjoy breakfast, lunch on the boat, and various snacks and drinks available for purchase.
This immersive experience offers a unique way to explore the beauty of both Thailand and Laos.
