Visit the Ivory Burning Site Monument, a significant symbol in Kenya’s fight against poaching. After your game drive, head over to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, located just outside Nairobi National Park.

This sanctuary is renowned for its elephant orphanage, where baby elephants are rescued, rehabilitated, and eventually released back into the wild. Witness the heartwarming sight of young elephants being fed and playing in the mud.

The keepers will share stories about each orphaned elephant, their rescue, and their journey to recovery. Before leaving, you have the opportunity to adopt one of the elephants and support the Trust's conservation efforts.

After lunch, a brief 30-minute drive will take you to the Giraffe Center, located in the leafy suburb of Lang’ata. The Giraffe Center is home to the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Here, you’ll have the chance to feed these gentle giants by hand and even get a giraffe kiss.

Learn about the efforts being made to conserve this endangered species. The knowledgeable guides at the Giraffe Center will provide an educational talk about giraffes, their habitats, and the ongoing conservation efforts.

If time permits, take a short nature walk in the Giraffe Center’s grounds, which offer a peaceful escape from the city and a chance to spot various bird species. Before leaving, browse the gift shop for unique souvenirs that support conservation efforts, such as local crafts, art, and memorabilia.

After a full day of adventure, you’ll be driven back to your hotel or residence in Nairobi, arriving by late afternoon.
