Embark on a 6-day safari to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, known for its wildlife and the Great Wildebeest Migration. Enjoy game drives, birdwatching, and a boat ride on Lake Naivasha.
Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi and get picked up from the airport. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay in readiness for a holiday safari the following morning.
Day 2: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, depart overland to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Masai Mara Sidai camp or similar. The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. After lunch, explore the reserve on a late evening game drive.
Day 3: Explore Masai Mara Game Reserve
Spend the day in the vast ecosystem of the Mara searching for the big five and much more. The annual wildebeest migration is expected in the Maasai Mara between July and early November. Millions of animals migrate to the Mara from Serengeti in search of fresh green pastures and water. You also have the option to go on a balloon safari.
Day 4: Discover the Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, enjoy morning and evening game drives in the park. The Mara is one of the richest wildlife spectacular scenery for the annual migration.
Day 5: Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, drive to papyrus-fringed Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. With over 400 species of bird, this freshwater lake is a birding paradise. Enjoy an evening boat ride on the lake before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Lake Naivasha - Drive to Nairobi
Enjoy an early breakfast and then drive to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Have lunch on the way and then be driven to the airport to catch your international flight back home.
