Begin your adventure with pick-up from your accommodation in Nairobi. After a brief meet and greet with your friendly and professional driver, set off for Crescent Island, stopping at Great Rift Valley viewpoints along the way to capture some stunning holiday photos. Afterwards, take a speedboat to the island. Along the way, you can see thousands of birds, animals grazing around the lake, and giant snoring hippopotamus heads. The entire trip is accompanied by a knowledgeable guide who will lead you through the vegetation. After a 30-minute animal viewing show, arrive at the island and enjoy a warm welcome from your friendly guide. Take a guided tour through the island and see its abundant fauna and flora. From the top, you have a 360-degree view of the entire lake, from Longonot to Hell's Gate, Mau Escarpement, Eburu, and up to Aberdare Aberdares). The site has more animals per acre than any other Kenyan park. The park is unfenced and does not allow access to mainland wildlife, which have lost their habitat to development and growing human populations. Throughout the day you can see hippos grazing and sleeping, giraffes and their calves, hyenas at night, many pythons and herds of buffalo. Stop for lunch and enjoy the stunning views of the park. After spending some time on the island, your boat will pick you up again and return to the mainland, setting off for Nairobi filled with memories.
