8 Days Amboseli Great Rift Valley Lakes and Masai Mara

Embark on an 8-day safari tour of Kenya's national parks. Visit Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru, and the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Enjoy game drives, bird-watching, and more.
Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive to Amboseli, arriving in Amboseli for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive until 6:30 PM. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at AA Lodge or similar.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, proceed for a full day of game viewing in the park. Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. The snows of the mountain form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most popular displays of wildlife. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, proceed for an afternoon game drive at Hell’s Gate National Park.

Here, you can ride a bicycle amongst the wild animals without any harm, go boat riding, swimming, bird-watching, and more. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Aloepark Resort or similar.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha National Park - Lake Bogoria
After breakfast, leave Lake Naivasha with lunch en route to Lake Bogoria. This is a saline, alkaline lake that lies in a volcanic in a half-graben basin south of Kenya.

The lake had been known in the past as the jewel of Rift Valley, the most beautiful view in Africa which is set in the acacia surroundings of the floor of the great rift valley. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Lake Bogoria - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Proceed for game drive in Lake Nakuru which is arguably the most renowned among Kenya's Rift Valley lakes and one of the best known African parks in the entire world.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Buraha Zenoni Resort or similar.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Game Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch at the camp. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve.

The reserve is famous for its black manned lion and yearly migrations of wildebeests from Serengeti in Tanzania to Masai Mara in Kenya. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Rhino tourist camp or similar.

Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, spend the full day game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard, and cheetah.

It also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. Have your lunch served at the Mara River which is the scene for the annual migration of both the zebras and wildebeests. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Masai Mara - Nairobi
After morning breakfast, check out and depart for Nairobi arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon with lunch en route. You will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your home flight or a Nairobi Hotel depending on your drop-off request.
