Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
As the sun rises over the rolling hills of Amboseli National Park, our safari adventure begins. We set off from Nairobi, bound for the AA Amboseli Lodge, where we'll spend the next two days immersed in the beauty of this African wilderness.
As we arrive at the lodge, the warm sun beats down on us, casting a golden glow over the rust-red earth and acacia trees. We check-in to our comfortable rooms, each with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro looming majestically in the distance.


After a leisurely lunch, we embark on our first game drive, venturing into the heart of Amboseli National Park. The savannah stretches out before us, a sea of green and gold as far as the eye can see. Our expert guide scans the horizon, expertly spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo – as well as other fascinating creatures like giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
As the sun begins to set, we make our way back to the lodge, where a delicious dinner awaits. We gather around the campfire, swapping stories of our adventures and marveling at the star-filled sky above.

Day 2: Amboseli to Nairobi
The next morning dawns bright and early, and we set off once again into the park. This time, we're on the lookout for predators – cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs – as well as other fascinating sights like ostriches and gazelles. Our guide regales us with tales of Amboseli's unique ecosystem and shares insights into the complex social dynamics of its inhabitants.
After a thrilling morning of game viewing, we return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast and some relaxation time. We can opt for a leisurely walk around the lodge's grounds or take a moment to simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

As we prepare to depart Amboseli National Park and return to Nairobi, we can't help but feel grateful for this brief glimpse into the majesty of East Africa's wildlife. With memories of Mount Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak and the endless plains of golden grasslands etched in our minds, we bid farewell to AA Amboseli Lodge and continue on our journey.
