Get dressed up in a traditional Japanese kimono and stroll through the streets of Kyoto, capturing beautiful photos and creating cherished memories. Choose between a standard plan or a premium plan which includes a wider selection of kimonos and hairstyling (for women only).
Make your way to the kimono store selectable at checkout to begin your kimono experience. Discover a wide selection of kimonos, ranging from traditional patterns to modern designs, and get help with the dressing process from the on-site staff.
With both packages, you will receive a kimono, sash belt (obi), Japanese satchel, tradiotional shoes (sandal-like footwear), and socks to use for the day. If it's not too busy, the dressing process should take less than an hour, allowing you to embark on your adventure quickly.

Upgrading the grade of the kimono and obi (Japanese belt) is also possible up to a certain level. Additionally, a standard hairstyle is included (only for women). Please note that the available choices of kimono grades may vary by store, so please check with the store for specific options.

・The operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, so the kimono should be returned by 5:30 PM. However, if you wish to enjoy Kyoto in a kimono in the evening, next-day return is also possible at an additional cost payable on site
・Depending on the time slot and season, there might be a waiting time of approximately 30 to 90 minutes
・The available choices of kimono grades may vary by store, so please check with the store for specific options
・If you make a reservation after 3pm the day before, you may have to wait a little while at the store.
