On this tour you will be guided through the spectacular glass constructions and modern architecture of the Porta Nuova district. This impressive project was built for the Milan Expo in 2015, which saw the participation of great stars including New Yorker Perr & Cobbs, Cèsar Pelli and the Italian Stefano Boeri of Boeri Studio, who designed the Vertical Forest that was named, “the World's Most Beautiful and Innovative Highrise”. As you walk through the area you will be experience a new vision of a sustainable city where past meets present in harmony, and you will be able to visit the historic areas of Porta Garibaldi and Porta Nuova Isola.
The Cultural Tour ends with a gourmet experience where you will enjoy Food and Wine Made in Italy. Starting with an aperitif (Milan is the home of the Aperitivo), you will indulge in local foods like Parmigiano cheese, Mozzarella cheese, Prosciutto crudo di Parma served with creamy Focaccia.
