Explore Mt. Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, on this trip in Catania. Trek through lava fields, marvel at the summit craters, and enjoy panoramic views of valleys and mountains.
Experience the high of being on top of a volcano. Meet with the guide at Piano Provenzana, then use the 4x4 bus service that will take us to "Pizzi Deneri" at an altitude of 2850 meters. Make a brief stop to take some pictures and enjoy the landscape.
Then, start the trekking and walk through old and recent lava fields that will take you to the edge of the Summit Craters at 3320 meters above sea level.
Take a stroll around the summit area, based on the volcanic activity of the moment. After this, begin the descent with the Bove Valley as a spectacular background and proceed towards infinite lava sand channels until you reach the starting point.
