Ascend 1,000 meters above sea level to the summit of Mount Vesuvius on a half-day trip from Naples. Learn more about the volcano from an alpine guide and admire spectacular views of the Bay of Naples.

Start your trip from Naples city centre and reach Vesuvius in comfort on board of air-conditioned exclusive bus.
After 30 minutes of driving you will enter the National Park, where you can observe the vegetation and the beautiful views. The driver will leave you at an altitude of 1000 meters from where you will start a walk of about 1 km until you reach the crater. Once at the summit you will be able to admire the breathtaking view and learn more about the geology of the volcano from the breif introduction of local mountain guide provided by National Park.
You will learn about the numerous transformations of the mountain due to its volcanic nature and how this force of nature was able to destroy the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Afterwards, you'll have free time to walk around the crater and take photos before boarding the bus and returning to Naples.

In the case of the closure of Vesuvius due to adverse weather conditions or force majeure ( therefore not dependent on the operator ) , customers will make the alternative itinerary offered by local tour operator or may forgo the tour ( in this case will be refunded only the cost of the entrance ticket to Vesuvius amounting to € 15.00 per person )
The driver will be holding a sign with your last name on it. Drivers will wait no longer than 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. Pick up time in selected point will be provided the day before, please make sure you have received communciation by local tour operator via WhatsApp or email
