Every Monday, Borobudur is closed; visitors can only enter the courtyard and will be provided with a guide.
The Yogyakarta Temple team will contact you one day before departure.
We guarantee the availability of tickets to ascend Borobudur Temple. If our tickets are sold out, we will inform you as soon as possible via WhatsApp.
Due to the difficulty for foreign tourists to obtain tickets to ascend the temple for August and September, an additional ticket fee (if a structured ticket is available) of 100,000 IDR per person will be charged, which can be paid directly to the driver before ascending Borobudur Temple."
Therefore, the total amount to be paid to the driver before entering the temple is 500,000 IDR per person (if you obtain a structured ticket).
