Discover the beauty of Mount Bromo and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall on a 3-day tour from Yogyakarta. Visit the wonderful waterfall, witness the magical sunrise, explore Bromo Caldera and its active crater.
Join a 3-day tour to explore two of Indonesia's most breathtaking landscapes. Visit Mount Bromo, a national park with the widest caldera in Indonesia and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, a 120-meter-high waterfall on the slope of Mount Semeru.
On day 1, be picked up from your hotel or the train station in Yogyakarta and drive for about 7.5 hours to Pronojiwo Regency near Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Transfer to the accommodation, check in and rest.
On day 2, have breakfast and check out hotel. Proceed to visit Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, enjoy the view from above and trek down through a hundred steps of concrete stairs and rocks to get to the waterfall (3-hour guided tour). After lunch, continue driving for about 4 hours to Cemoro Lawang in Bromo area. Transfer to the accommodation, check in and rest.
On day 3, wake up early at 3:00 AM and take a ride on a Jeep 4WD to get to the sunrise view point. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise with volcanic landscape, drive through the black sea of sand and experience a short trek of 250 steps to reach Bromo Crater Rim. Return to the accommodation for breakfast and take a break. Check out hotel then transfer to Probolinggo or Surabaya. End of the Tour!
