Explore Yogyakarta on a day trip to its three main attractions with a guide and hotel transfers. Witness the sunrise from Mount Merapi, and take guided tours of Borobudur and Prambanan temples.
Complete your visit to Yogyakarta by exploring its main destinations: Mount Merapi, Borobudur Temple, and Prambanan Temple.
You will be picked up by an English-speaking driver who will also serve as your tour manager from your accommodation in Yogyakarta to Mount Merapi, with a 45-minute drive to the jeep departure point.
At this point, you will switch to a classic jeep to head to the sunrise point and witness the active volcano.
After the sunrise, you will stop at a mini museum with a collection of various items damaged and melted by eruptions.
Then, change vehicles and head to Borobudur.
During the 60-minute journey to the temple, you will pass through rural areas and salak plantations.
Upon arrival at Borobudur Temple, a professional guide will accompany you, providing in-depth explanations about the history, reconstruction, and philosophical aspects of the temple structure, concluding with free time for exploration and photo-taking.
Next, head to Prambanan Temple, a 90-minute drive from Borobudur.
Upon arrival at Prambanan, your guide will provide comprehensive explanations about the temple, including folklore, background, and history. This session will conclude with free time for exploration and photography.

Please note that we do not provide Borobudur Climbing Tickets. We only facilitate our customers on how to obtain them and do not guarantee that you will have them, especially if booked one day before departure.
The Borobudur Climbing Ticket costs Idr Rp455,000, the Borobudur Temple Grounds ticket is $25, and the Prambanan ticket is $25.
Please be aware that visitors can climb the Borobudur Monument with a daily quota of 1100 people per day or 150 people per hour.
The tour will be confirmed once your booking is accepted.
To climb to the top of the temple, an additional fee of IDR 95K per person (approximately 6 Usd) is required, including a local guide (decided on-site!).
Borobudur/Prambanan is closed every Monday!
On Mondays, visitors cannot climb or enter the temple.
