Before explore temple we cycling around Prambanan villages so we can visit some local people activity as to make bakpia, tofu , kerupuk , etc. Prambanan (Indonesian: Candi Prambanan) is an 8th-century Hindu temple compound in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, dedicated to three Hindu Gods: the Creator (Brahma), the Preserver (Vishnu) and the Destroyer (Shiva) known as Trimurti. The Prambanan temple compound, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998,[1] is the largest Hindu temple site in Indonesia and the second-largest in Southeast Asia after Angkor Wat. Main characteric of its Hindu architecture is tall and pointed architecture and towering with 47 m height in the central building (Shiva temple).[2] These temple compounds originally consists of 240 temple structures (including 224 ruined Pervara temples), and represents the magnificent ancient Java's Hindu architecture and structure. Together with Buddhist Borobudur temple which were built at the same era and are physically located very close one to another, it is considered as a masterpiece and symbol of peace and religious harmony in Indonesia.[3] Prambanan attracts many domestic visitors and also from around the world.
