A trip from Yogyakarta to Bromo and ljen typically involves a scenic journey through
Java's diverse landscapes. You'll start by traveling east to Bromo, where the iconic Mount Bromo and its mesmerizing sunrise await. After exploring Bromo, the journey continues to ljen, known for its stunning blue fire phenomenon (subject to change deppend on weather condition) and acidic crater lake. Along the way, you'll encounter picturesque villages and lush greenery.
Day 1
08:00 meet our representative at your Hotel and depart from Yogyakarta.The journey will take approximately 7 hours driving with highway.You may ask our representative to stop for lunch in the middle of journey.Once you arrived at your accomodation, you will have free time to relax and enjoy.Have enough rest and be prepare for the next day activities start at 03:00.
Day 2
03:00 Picked up by 4x4 Jeep driver for Bromo Sunrise Point, enjoy the enchanting sunrise and proceed to Bromo Crater.Walk a long the sea of sand to enjoy Bromo Caldera. Afterwards, back to your accommodation for breakfast and check out from the accommodation at 10:00.Continue your journey to the accomodation near Ijen Crater.It will take approximately 4 hours driving.
Day 3
Check out from the accommodation (take away breakfast) and drive to Ijen meeting point, it will take approximately 1.5 hours driving.At 02:00 start trekking with local guide to Summit of Ijen Crater, Total trekking activities at Ijen crater will take approximately 4-5 hours. Witness mesmerising blue flame and sunrise (only on your lucky day).Depart from Ijen at 07:30 and drive 1.5 hours driving to Ketapang Harbour (drop-off point).
note : time schedule is subject to change based on weather and any other factors.

From Yogyakarta to Bromo it is 426km (7-hours of driving), from Bromo to Bondowoso it is 142km (4-hours of driving), from Bondowoso to Ijen it is66km (2-hours of driving) and from Ijen to Ketapang harbour it is 41km ( 1-hours 30 minute of driving )
You may have to share transportation with other people who book the tour
Please note, Ijen is closed on every first Friday of the month, please adjust your travel date accordingly
