Start your tour with a visit to the National Monument in the middle of Merdeka Square. Learn about the history of Indonesia from prehistoric times to the present with a visit to the monument's basement, which houses an exhibit of 48 dioramas.
Next, visit Jakarta Cathedral, a building constructed in 1891 in the gothic style. Marvel at the high tower with high windows decorated with glass paintings. Inside the church are 3 altars that together form a semi-circle. It also has a beautiful old altar that reflects sound like a conch shell.
