There are many historical versions of Pura Lempuyang. However, the certain is Pura Lempuyang Luhur is one of the oldest temples in Bali, apart from Pura Besakih and Ulun Danu Batur. If you visit Lempuyang Temple, you will see people taking photos at Lempuyang Temple' s gate with the sky and Mount Agung in the background. The gate is very famous for its beautiful views, so it is called as the gate to heaven.
