Start your journey early to maximise your time in Agra. Travel by car, which takes approximately 4-5 hours.
EN-ROUTE VISIT FATEHPUR SIKRI
On the way to Agra, our first stop is Fatehpur Sikri. Explore the grand palaces, courtyards, and mosques of this former Mughal capital, built by Emperor Akbar. Highlights include the Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and the Tomb of Salim Chishti.
AGRA
Upon arrival, head directly to the Taj Mahal, one of India's most-visited monuments.
TAJ MAHAL
Spend time admiring the breathtaking Taj Mahal, the iconic marble mausoleum commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Be sure to appreciate the intricate inlay work and the beautifully landscaped gardens.

ITMAD-UD-DAULAH TOMB
The Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb, often called the "Baby Taj," is a Mughal mausoleum known for its exquisite marble inlay work and delicate design. Built by Empress Nur Jahan for her father, it is a precursor to the Taj Mahal and features intricate carvings and a beautiful garden setting.

Depart for Jaipur
Around 6:00 PM, start your return journey to Jaipur. You'll arrive back in Jaipur after a full day of exploring Mughal heritage. This itinerary allows you to visit all major attractions in a single day, making the most of your time between Jaipur and Agra.
