Embark on a 5-day tour of Kerala, starting from Cochin. Visit Munnar and Thekkady, and cruise through the backwaters of Alleppey. Enjoy a traditional Kerala dinner and cultural show, and explore local markets.
Day 1: Cochin to Munnar (approx. 130 km, 4 hours)
Begin your journey with a pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Cochin. Arrive in Munnar and check-in to your hotel. Visit the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, and Echo Point. Enjoy a traditional Kerala dinner and cultural show (optional).
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
Visit Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai), Tea Plantations, and Kundala Lake. Explore Munnar town and local markets.
Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady (approx. 90 km, 3 hours)
Depart for Thekkady and check-in to your hotel. Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary on a boat safari and explore the Spice Plantations. Enjoy a traditional Kerala dinner and cultural show (optional).
Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey (approx. 150 km, 4 hours)
Depart for Alleppey and check-in to your houseboat. Cruise through the backwaters and visit Vembanad Lake and Pathiramanal Island. Enjoy a traditional Kerala dinner on the houseboat.
Day 5: Alleppey to Cochin (approx. 50 km, 1.5 hours)
Morning After breakfast on the houseboat, drive will pickup you and back to Cochin. If time permits, explore Fort Kochi, the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and Santa Cruz Basilica. Visit the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace, and the Jewish Synagogue, one of the oldest synagogues in India. Transfer to Cochin International Airport/Hotel/Railway Station for your onward journey.
