Agra Fort was the main residence of the Mughal emperors of the Mughal dynasty until 1638. It is made of red sandstone and hence it is also called Red Fort (Red Fort). After visiting Agra Fort, you will proceed for a delicious lunch in Agra.

Visit to Itimad-ud-Daula (Baby Taj Mahal) or Mehtab Bagh (optional):
Itimad ud daula is a beautiful mausoleum shaped like a jewelery box, which was built by Nur Jahan, the wife of the fourth Mughal emperor Jahangir, for her father.

These peaceful and slightly understated gardens are located on the other side of the Yamuna River, opposite the Taj Mahal. They give their visitors a different perspective of the tomb and the river, especially at sunset.
