Next up is the Geysir Hot Spring area where Strokkur Geyser shoots water up to 30 meters (98 ft.) into the air every 4-8 minutes in an impressive display of nature’s forces. The colorful landscapes, bubbling mud pools, and steaming geysers make this a truly memorable experience.

Continue to Gullfoss waterfall, created by the river Hvítá, which tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32 meters (105 ft.) deep. Here you are given the opportunity to stand next to the majestic waterfall and perhaps even feel its spray of water on your skin.
