Explore the natural beauty of Volta Ghana on a 2-day trip from Accra. Hike to the highest human settlement in Ghana, Amedzorfe, and the highest peak in Ghana, Mount Gemi. Visit the highest waterfall in West Africa, Wli Waterfall, and have time with friendly Mona Monkeys at Tafi Atome.
Day 1
Depart from Accra and drive to Amedzorfe, the highest human settlement in Ghana. Hike to the top of Mount Gemi and enjoy the amazing view of other human settlements from the mountain. Continue to walk on the beautiful Amedzorfe canopy walk alongside the Ote waterfall.
Have an overnight stay at Amedzorfe and enjoy the cool atmosphere as you are surrounded by mountains.
Day 2
Hike to the top of Afajato, the highest peak in Ghana at 885 meters. Visit the highest waterfall in West Africa, Wli Waterfall, and swim to relax. Continue to Tafi Atome and have time with friendly Mona Monkeys before you drive back to Accra.
