Our action-packed one-day tour to Kazbegi begins early in the morning when we depart from Tbilisi in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan. Throughout the journey, our guide will share fascinating stories about Georgia, its history, and its culture.

First Stop: Jinvali Water Reservoir
The journey starts with a visit to the picturesque Jinvali Water Reservoir. This man-made lake, surrounded by mountains, is stunningly beautiful. You’ll have the opportunity to take incredible photos and learn about the history and significance of this reservoir for the region from our guide.

Second Stop: Ananuri Fortress
Next, we will visit Ananuri Fortress, a medieval stronghold on the shores of the Jinvali Reservoir. We will explore the fortress, visit its churches and towers, and hear about its strategic importance and the historical events connected to this site.

Third Stop: Black and White Aragvi Rivers
Then, we’ll head to the confluence of the Black and White Aragvi Rivers. Here, you’ll witness a unique natural phenomenon where the dark waters of the Black Aragvi meet the lighter waters of the White Aragvi. This is a perfect spot for photographs and a short rest.

Lunch Stop: Mleta Village
In Mleta village, we’ll stop for lunch. The cost of lunch is not included in the tour price, allowing travelers to choose dishes to their liking in one of the local restaurants, enjoying traditional Georgian cuisine.

Fourth Stop: Gudauri View Point
After lunch, we’ll make our way to the Gudauri ski resort, where we’ll stop at a panoramic viewpoint. From here, breathtaking views of the Caucasus Mountains unfold. Depending on the season, additional activities such as paragliding (350 GEL), horseback riding (from 30 GEL), and zip-lining (130 GEL) are available.

Fifth Stop: Stepantsminda and Gergeti Trinity Church
We continue our journey to Stepantsminda, also known as Kazbegi. Here, you can admire views of the majestic Mount Kazbek. Optionally, for an additional fee of 20 GEL, we will take jeeps to the Gergeti Trinity Church, situated at an elevation of 2170 meters. This iconic symbol of the region is impressive for its location and architecture.

Horse Riding: Enjoy a horseback ride along beautiful mountain trails (from 30 GEL).
