Travel from Marseille along the scenic Crest Road to reach the charming fishing port of Cassis on a guided day trip. Stroll along the Cours Mirabeau in Aix en Provence.
There are some places you can’t help falling in love with at first sight and Cassis is one of them!
Your afternoon excursion to Cassis begins in Marseille where you meet your friendly tour guide. Set off for an unforgettable visit and take in the panoramic view from the Cape Canaille, the highest maritime cliff in Europe (photo stop) as you go.
Arriving in Cassis, free time to walk around the old fishing port, with all its colourful boats. Possibility to have lunch or swimming/sun-bathing).
You will have the possibility to embark on a 1 hour cruise from Cassis to discover the calanques, limestone cliffs which dive into the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean sea and create natural coves (fat, rocky claws that resemble Norwegian fjords and poke out into the sea) (the cruise ticket is not included).
You will be in Aix en Provence for the rest of the excursion.
Stroll on the famous Cours Mirabeau dotted with refreshing fountains. Admire the private mansions from 17th and 18th centuries. Free time before to drive back to Marseille.
Please note: We cannot be held responsible if the Calanques cruise is canceled due to bad weather or if the Crest road and the access to Cap Canaille are closed (no refund can be claimed).
