After your flight you will be "baptized" with unique names and titles by old ballooning traditions. You will receive your first flight certificates to remind you your extraordinary journey. Then our pilot will ensure your safe return with a 4x4 car ride back to the meeting or take-off site.

Timing:
Balloon tours are organized every day, weather permitting, from April to October twice per day : in the early mornings (around 6:00 to 9:00 am) and late evenings (5:00 to 8:00 pm), ensuring you witness the magical moments of sunrise and sunset when the sun paints the sky with vibrant hues.
Duration:
While the actual balloon flight lasts approximately one hour, the entire experience takes about 3-4 hours. From the inflation of the balloon to the gentle landing, each moment is crafted to provide a safe, thrilling, and unforgettable adventure.

Please note: Hot air balloon flights completely depend on meteo situation. Usually meteo forecast is available 3 days before a flight, but sometimes the forecast is inaccurate or incomplete. Therefore, for safety reasons any flight may be cancelled 12-24 hours before schedule. We recommend you to plan some alternative dates for the flight for weather reasons.
The meeting time set in the offer is the PRELIMINARY meeting time.
The preliminary meeting place is the big parking for camper cars at the address 4 rue de Verdun, 41400 Saint Georges sur Cher (5 km from the castle of Chenonceau).
Usually 6 - 16 persons fly in one hot air balloon.
Before the take off the pilot will ask you to help to prepare the balloon for the flight, of course, if you can and wish.
