Explore a place of exceptional serenity: a plateau welcoming pigs, sheep, goats, cows, horses in freedom, hiking to a panoramic peak or to an old shepher hut or cave - dinner or pic nic in option
High rocks / Cuscionu's plateau : shepherds huts, animals in freedom and legends
meeting at 9 am or 1pm for half a day hike on the plateau or at 4pm for the sunset : an immersion in a place of exceptional tranquility and serenity: a plateau of estive and transhumance of pigs, sheep, goats, cows, horses, Julie will take you to a panoramic peak from where you can see the sea and the highest peaks of Corsica before going down to caves carved by the wind, the salt, the sun and the water...we will push a little further to a large stretch of grass, lawns with its thousand holes of water, the pozzines, it is an old glacial lake that has little to little recovered. Julie will explain the use of the plants and tell you about local legends. After these 2-3 hours of hiking (about 150 to 200m of positive and as many negative height diffrence) if you have booked the whole day with dinner option, we will then eat in a sheepfold where the sunset is beautiful. Return about 1 hour to 1h30 by a front light if departure is in the afternoon
Option : without sunset but the whole day starting at 9 am (including or not a taste of local products or a lunch in an auberge)
Other notes
come with a backpack containing water, a small pharmacy, your medicine, enough to protect you from the heat, the cold...from the snow depending on the season:)
be careful and responsible : from Quenza to the Bucchinera resort, you still have a 20-30 minute drive on a degraded mountain road which is actually private and unmaintained with many holes on which you have to pass on either side, a car that is too low is not recommended
