Discover the Lappish countryside on a self-driven husky sledding adventure in Levi. Learn how to drive a sled and mush your very own team of huskies.
Upon arrival in Levi, the joyful barks of the Siberian and Alaskan Huskies will greet you at the local husky farm. Take the opportunity to meet these friendly and energetic animals and gain insights into their fascinating lifestyle. After an introduction to dogsledding, it’s time to unleash the musher within you! Glide through the serene Arctic nature on snowy trails, enjoying the peacefulness of the surroundings during your husky sleigh ride. A stop will be made during the safari, allowing you to capture the magic of Lapland’s landscapes through photographs.
Each husky sled accommodates two persons, and there’s a chance to switch drivers along the way, ensuring everyone gets a chance to take the reins. After the exhilarating safari, warm drinks will be provided to keep you cozy and refreshed.

Each sled will be driven by a 2-person team. The driver of the sled can switch halfway through the tour.
This activity takes place rain or shine and will only be canceled in the case of weather extremes like storms.
Pickup is included from Rakkavaarantie road bus stops and selected hotels in Levi. Pickups start within 30 minutes to 1 hour before your tour starts. Exact pickup time and location will be informed by email the day before. Please contact the activity provider if you have not received your pickup time. Please be ready in your hotel lobby or outside of your accommodation 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time.
If you are staying in Levi Centre area, meet your guide at Arctic Circle Snowmobile Park Safari Office 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the activity. Address: Levintie 1585.
A missed pickup will result in a missed tour which will not be refunded.
