La Alpujarra is an extensive valley running across the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevada, the Mediterranean coast and the Sierra de Gador. White buildings pepper the rugged terrain, matching the snow-capped peaks down amid the lush foliage.

carpets. Near to Lanjaron, the first stop, visit a miraculous place where water flows through its historic seaside resort, founded in 1843. exquisite Iberian hams, enjoy a tasting of locally made products in Trevelez. Finally continue to Bubion and Capileira, dominating from its height the valley of Barranco del Poqueira, the heart of the charming and picturesque villages, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views and a traditional lunch if you choose this option.
