After pickup from your Cairo hotel, begin your tour at Sakkara, the city of the dead with the famous Dtep Pyramid of Djosser. Built in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser, the pyramid is the world's oldest major stone structure.

Next, move to Dahshur where the first true pyramid was built by king Senefru, the founder of the 4th dynasty. See the Bent Pyramid, the first attempt the ancient Egyptians made at a smooth pyramid like the ones in Giza and visit the Red Pyramid.
