Get to know the Dominican culture on our spectacular Safari tour, a tour in which it is undoubtedly for you. You will get to know Higuey just 45 minutes from Punta Cana. You will visit the Basilica of Higuey.
On this half-day excursion we will be doing the following program: We will pick you up at the hotel in an air-conditioned bus. The first thing we will do is a horseback ride through the countryside, you will try the real Dominican mamajuana (a mixture of rum, wine and honey aged in roots and bark of Afro-Dominican plants) Then we will visit the Basilica "Virgen de La Altagracia" and the local market. We will go to the mountains and stop at a small family farm where they grow coffee and cocoa, and we will see how they make their natural products from these plants, which is their livelihood. At the end we will go to have lunch at a place on the Anamuya River. Lunch will be a typical Dominican meal, very delicious! You can also take a refreshing swim in the river. Then, . There will always be a guide or an instructor with you who will assist you in everything. With us there will always be bottled water, soft drinks, rum and mamajuana.
