The tour starts at the railway station and takes you through the old town of Goslar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will come to the Neuwerk Church, the Jakobi Church and the Church of St Cosmas and Damian.
The tour continues to the lively market square with its cafés, where you can admire the town hall, the market fountain and the baker's guild house.
You then visit the Schuhhof, the oldest square in the city, before arriving at the Romanesque church of St Cosmas and Damian. Magnificent guild houses are on your way before you visit Peterstraße, which still shows the old original townscape with many small half-timbered houses. The tour ends at the Lohmühle mill at "Klapperhagen", not far from the starting point, after you have, of course, marvelled at the imposing imperial palace.
The tour is family-friendly and offers a varied route of around 3 kilometres. In between, there are always opportunities to stop at local cafés and restaurants.
