Tour La Candelaria in Bogota on a 7-hour tour full of history, culture and color. Walk through its colonial streets, explore the urban art, and live the authentic essence of the city.
Cerro Monserrate: A viewpoint located in the eastern hills of Bogota, which has become an obligatory stop when visiting our city. The hill offers 2 types of transportation to ascend and descend, Cable Car and Funicular. When you reach the top, from 3,150 meters above sea level you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the entire city. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Monserrate Monastery and its beautiful view of the city of Bogota.

2. La Candelaria Historic Center: Walk through the historic cobblestone streets of La Candelaria, surrounded by its colonial and republican style buildings that are preserved for being declared of historical and cultural interest. Additionally, during this tour you will have the opportunity to visit the following tourist attractions of great importance in the area:

Chorro de Quevedo.
Botero Museum (not open on Tuesdays).
Gold Museum (not open on Mondays).
Colon Theater.
Church of La Candelaria.
Luis Angel Arango Library.
Gabriel Garcia Marquez Cultural Center.

3. Plaza de Bolivar: Main square of Bogota and Colombia, declared a National Monument in 1995. This square is surrounded by the main buildings of the city where the main religious attractions and headquarters of the most important political bodies of the country are located (The Palace of Justice, The National Capitol, The Primate Cathedral of Colombia, The House of the Ecclesiastical Chapter, The Chapel of the Tabernacle, the Archbishop's Palace and the Palace Liévano).

4. Gold Museum: It is considered the largest museum of its kind in the world, with 50,000 objects exhibited in its archaeological collection including gold pieces, lithic objects, ceramics, precious stones and textiles belonging to different indigenous cultures that inhabited different regions of Colombia. Note: NOT open on Mondays, it will be replaced by a visit to another attraction of interest according to availability (Below we give you some recommended options).
