Day 1: Your adventure begins at La Macarena airport, where we'll transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, embark on a scenic boat ride along the Guayabero River, surrounded by lush rainforest. Disembark for a leisurely hike to Caño Cristalitos, known for its crystal-clear waters and natural pools. Enjoy a delicious lunch with fresh local ingredients before returning to La Macarena for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Fuel up with breakfast before exploring the legendary Caño Cristales. Start with a boat ride and a thrilling 4X4 journey to the entrance. Trek through breathtaking landscapes, visiting iconic attractions like Los Hoyos and Los Pianos. Dive into natural pools, capture stunning photos, and enjoy a delicious lunch amidst nature. Return to La Macarena for relaxation and reflection.
Day 3: After breakfast, journey to the Inderena port for a boat ride along the Guayabero River to the Losada River mouth. Keep an eye out for pink dolphins and diverse wildlife. Return to La Macarena by noon, concluding your unforgettable adventure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The season where the plants that give Caño Cristales its color only grow from June to November, which is the rain season. We don't recommend travel to Caño Cristales before June or after November because you probably won't enjoy the scenery (the river will be dry and thus without plants). Please keep that in mind, when you plan your trip!
In Caño Cristales and Caño Cristalitos, it is forbidden to use sunscreen and mosquito repellent but you can use them for the rest of the trip.
The tours are run on small groups of 8 participants max. You will be assigned to a group that has the same hiking level as you. The program on day 1 and 3 will be adapted according to your level. On day 2 (Caño Cristales), there are several routes in the reserve that vary in length. You will be assigned to a route according to your hiking level.
Don’t expect luxury. The highlight of the trip is 100% nature!
• A yellow fever vaccine certificate will be required to board the plane
