This morning, we designed this impressive half-day tour to discover local ways of life, connect with locals, visit the local community, and enjoy your day away from the touristy crowds.
Travel out of the city in a open-air Jeep with our local tour guide to see authentic local daily life while breathing in fresh air from the countryside.
Your countryside Jeep tour will begin by picking you up from your accommodation, then our guide will give a short introduction of the tour highlights for today.
First, you will have a great chance to visit the Buddhist temple in the village in order to understand the Buddhist practice Of Cambodians. Afterwards, we take a walk through the tranquil village, past rice paddies, ponds, and watch as the local farmers cultivate, and harvest their produce. The following drive, through villages and dirt roads, makes for many photo-perfect opportunities.
Next, we will pay a visit to the makers of bamboo rice cakes and Cambodia noodle. Find out more about the processes involved in the making of this special countryside delicacy, and, of course, you're welcome to try it.
From here, we will continue to visit the Satcha-Cambodian Handicraft Center that supports traditional Cambodian crafts. See artisans creating silk products, stone carvings, woodwork, and more. Discover about the craftsmanship and techniques behind Khmer art.
