We present a wonderful one-day walk in the Verila mountain with visit to historical complex that began to be built during the Thracian period, 8-6 centuries BC,hiking to the Belchinski Paradise hut.
the location of the place is 50 km from Sofia, the travel time is 50 minutes, you can visit the complex with tickets that can be bought on the spot, they are not included in the price/4 euros/. The Tsari Mali Grad complex is located in a strategic place for observation and defense, its name comes from a kingdom. The Thracians date back to using the place as a sanctuary around the 8th to the 6th century BC, they inhabited and built it. After the conquest by the Romans around the 2nd-3rd century AD, it began to be inhabited and walls were built. It consists of 3 towers and 2 churches built from the 4th to the 6th century. We will leave more of the history to follow during the visit. The time spent in the complex is about 1 hour and 30 minutes, then we head to the nearby Belchinsky Rai hut.lunch and in the opposite direction the vehicle,duration of the tour is from 5 to 6 hours.
