After private pickup from your Rio de Janeiro hotel or accommodation, you'll set off to Santa Teresa. Situated on a hill, the neighborhood seems to have stopped in time, preserving aspects of Old Rio and seems to have a story on every corner. Santa Teresa is full of squares and cultural spaces that reveal landscapes of North, South and Central areas. With mansions that are home to workshops, craft shops, bars and restaurants, Santa Teresa attracts many tourist , artists, writers and intellectuals from around the world. Visit the Ruins Park, a beautiful viewpoint that leaves Rio at your feet. Then, move on to Chácara do Céu, the former residence of Raymundo Castro Maya, which today stands as a museum. You will also visit the colorful Selarón Stairs and many amazing panoramic views.
After visiting Santa Teresa we will head down to Sugarloaf Mountain. Take the cable cars up the two mountains which cover a distance of 575 meters up to a height of 395 meters above the sea level (cable cars tickets not included). Once at the summit, relax and take in the beautiful views that Rio de Janeiro has to offer. You'll be able to see some of its famous beaches, Tijuca National Forest and even the Christ Redeemer Statue.
