La Paz: 3day excursion to Uyuni Salt Flats-Incahuasi Island

Travel by bus on an unforgettable 3-day excursion from La Paz to Uyuni. Discover the Salar de Uyuni and Incahuasai Island. Enjoy a day exploring Uyuni by jeep and visit Colchani and the Dakar Monument
FIRST DAY
Please go to the Bus office at 20:30 for check-in, then the bus will depart at 21:00.
On board the bus, enjoy Dinner, Breakfast, a Bottle of Water and a toilet.

SECOND DAY
Arrival in Uyuni City at 7:30 a.m. - Free Time - then head near the bus station,
Departure from Uyuni City at 10:30 a.m. towards the salt flat by 4x4 WD transport.

During this excursion we will visit:
-Train Cemetery
These 19th century locomotives remind us of old times. This beautiful place is excellent for photographers.

-Colchani
Rosario Cooperative, which is a salt iodization plant, is situated on the edge of the salt flats. It is a good place to observe the methods of salt extraction and processing. You can also visit the Artisanal Salt Market (llama clothing - salt crafts) and a small salt museum.

-Salt Flat of Uyuni
At 3,665 metres above sea level and covering 12,000 km2, the tour of the salt flat offers a stunning and incomparable landscape. Also, visit the salt eyes, the salt and take beautiful photos.

-Salt Museum - Hotel
This is an unusual construction, built entirely with blocks of salt.

-Dakar Monument + Island of the Flags of the World
The Flags of the World (where you can bring your own and put it there for free) and a Dakar Monument to take beautiful photos.

-Incahuasi Island
Located in the centre of the salt flat, it is like an Oasis of an exclusive and isolated ecosystem, and inhabited by cacti from 1 to 4 metres high. Incahuasi Island is considered an excellent location by photographers, as well as a resting place, with the impressive landscape of the majestic Salar de Uyuni.

Finally, enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine.
Return to Uyuni at 19:30 and at 21:00 bus from Uyuni to La Paz.
Arrival at the Office Bus at 20:30.

THIRD DAY
Arrival in La Paz city at 6:30 am.
End of the excursion: La Paz city bus station.

*During the rainy season (January to April), it is not possible to access Incahuasi Island.
