Start your excursion at 10:30 am with a drive to the Salar de Uyuni.
The first stop is the haunting “Cementerio de Trenes” (Train Cemetery), which is located on the outskirts of Uyuni. You will be able to see Bolivia's first locomotives and learn about their history, which used to connect several important cities. Now, corroded over time by the strong saline winds that run through this desert area, they make a great photographic backdrop.

Then visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners' workshops next to the salt flat), there, you will also find handicrafts made of salt, and textile art made with llama and alpaca wool. These are excellent souvenirs to take home. Take pictures as you navigate the vast white expanse of salt, wade through the “Ojos de Agua Salada”, visit also: a hotel made entirely of salt that is currently used as a museum, Flags of the World (where you can bring your own and put it there for free) and a Dakar Racing Monument.

After a morning of exploration, lunch will be served near the “Isla Incahuasi” (Fish Island), then you will have time to hike to the top of the island to see giant cacti, and rock formations made of petrified coral. Then take time to organize your group to take fun photos distorted in perspective and proportion, on the blinding white surface of the salt flats, playing with the scene, you are sure to get some fun and memorable photos.

Finally, head to a spacious area to live the unique experience of watching a beautiful sunset over the salt flats, spreading its dazzling colors all over the salt flat, enjoying it with a glass of wine.

Finally, return to the city of Uyuni at 07:15 p.m.
