Discover the highlights of Bhutan on a 6-day tour from Paro. Explore the capital of Thimphu, visit the Punakha Dzong, and hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery.
Day 1: Arrival at Paro International Airport.
Be welcomed at Paro airport and drive to Thimphu. Visit the Tachong Lhakhang monastery, the Chuzom Bridge, and the Memorial Chorten. Check in to your hotel in Thimphu.
Day 2: Explore Thimphu
After breakfast, visit the Bhutan postal museum, the Buddha Statue, the Textile museum, the Tashichho Dzong, Simply Bhutan, the Craft Bazaar, New Thimphu Park, the Bhutan National Painting School, and the Royal Takin Reserve Zoo.
Day 3: Thimphu - Punakha
After breakfast, drive towards Punakha via Dochula pass. Visit the beautiful 108 chortens, the Chimi Lhakhang, the Punakha Dzong, and the Suspension Bridge.
Day 4: Punakha – Paro
After breakfast, drive towards back to Paro. Visit the Botanical Garden, the Ta Dzong, the Paro Rinpung Dzong, and the Airport Viewpoint.
Day 5: Paro Taktsang monastery hike
After breakfast, drive towards Taktsang base from where the hike begins. Horse riding facilities are available till the view point. Visit the Taktsang monastery, the Kichu Lhakhang, and a Bhutanese Farm House.
Day 6: Paro Departure
After breakfast, your guide and driver will see you off at Paro International airport for your onward destinations.
