Embark on an adventure through the Blue Mountains, admiring the scenery from a range of unique perspectives. From animal encounters to a thrilling train ride, this day trip has a little bit of everything.
Your local tour guide will pick you up from central Sydney in an air-conditioned vehicle to begin your journey away from the city. Your first stop of the day will be to Sydney Zoo. See lots of fascinating wildlife, including the chance to feed kangaroos. You will also get a glimpse into Australia’s history on a guided First Nationals culture talk.
After spending the morning with Australian wildlife, you’ll make your way to the Blue Mountains. The first viewing point of the mountains will be at Echo Point, where you can see the iconic Three Sisters towering above Jamison Valley.
Once you’ve gotten a glimpse of the vast mountains, you’ll visit Scenic World. Enjoy three different rides, all providing a unique viewing point of the Blue Mountains. The Scenic Railway is the steepest railway in the world, taking you across the forest floor. The Scenic Cableway and the Scenic Skyway will allow you to marvel at the Blue Mountains from high above.
Your unforgettable day of adventure will conclude at Homebush Bay Ferry Wharf. This ending point is the perfect location to jump on board a ferry and take the Parramatta River back to Sydney Harbour.
