Have an authentic hiking experience with natural and cultural attractions near the capital Yerevan.
Be collected at your accommodation by your guide and begin your adventurous day. Head to Bjni, which is a former spa town famous for its mineral water. Once there, visit the ruins of the 10th-century fortress, the 13th-century church Saint-Gevorg, and 10th-century church of St. Astvatsatsin. Your trek will bring you to the high path along the mountain outcrop, where you will be able to admire the valley of Hrazdan, the Tsaghkunyats mountain range, and even the chain of Geghama. Discover interesting geological formations including a natural arch.
The final destination of your trek will be the town of Tsaghkadzor, which is a small spa and recreation town and known as a popular ski resort. The town offers many interesting activities and trails for hiking. During the stroll around the town, explore the 13th-century church of Kecharis, where some of the oldest khachkars in Armenia are located. In the evening, you will be returned to the capital city.
