3 Day Kapama safari From Johannesburg

Experience African safari at its best at Kapama private Game Reserve
DAY 1: Travel from Johannesburg to Kapama Game reserve
The driver will pick you up from the requested pick-up point and then drive you to your destination at Kapama River Lodge (Journey estimated to be 7 hours). Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the friendly staff at your luxury pre-booked accommodation. After a long drive, you will get to relax on the patio and enjoy the calm wild scenery while enjoying your sundowners while waiting for your afternoon safari.
Afternoon safari
Pick up time: 16:00 pm
Kapama is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, rhinoceros, elephants, and buffalo The thrill of spotting a pride of lions lazing in the shade, or a herd of elephants making their way to a nearby watering hole, is unparalleled. You will get to experience all the wild adventure on a guided safari on an open safari vehicle. with a break in between in the wild for some drinks while enjoying the sunset.
DAY 2: Kapama Morning & Afternoon safari
Morning 3-hour safari
Pick up time: 05:30 am
The early morning hours offer a unique opportunity to witness the awakening of the African wilderness, as the sun rises over the plains. And this give you a chance to spot predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions on the hunt, making the most of the morning's prime hunting hours. The morning light offers ideal conditions for taking nice pictures, with the soft golden glow casting a warm glow over the landscape. You will have a Mid-drive stop for hot drinks, homemade rusks and biscuits at a lookout point, watering hole or designated area in the reserve. After safari you will return to the lodge for a full breakfast.



Afternoon 3-hour safari
At around 16:30 p.m., after having some refreshments and light snacks we will start our afternoon safari on an open safari vehicle, guided by qualified rangers on open safari vehicle. Giving you the best sunset scenery only found in Kapama Game Reserve. We will visit various waterholes that these animals frequent in the evening, and surely, we will not miss animals here. and later we head back to our accommodation and enjoy dinner under the African sky.

DAY 3: Morning safari - Transfer from Kapama River Lodge to Johannesburg
We will wake up at 5:30 am on an Open Vehicle and go looking for the cats returning from their hunting mission or the hyenas looking for something to scavenge on. We will have breakfast in the wild for the last time and prepare for our journey back to the city with our cameras full of all the big 5s photos and memories captured for a lifetime. Pick up time will depend on the flight departure / what time you need to be in Johannesburg.
