The canyon of the lost is a desert enclave located in the province of Ica and despite its recent discovery in 2011 by members of the Association for the Promotion of Tourism and Culture of Ocucaje, this place attracts a considerable number of visitors every year. Visitors are looking for excitement and a serene space to relax. Itinerary: - Between 6:00 am and 7:00 am. We will pick you up from your accommodation in Ica and head south. - First, we will stop at the main square of Okukača, where we will admire the famous monuments of sharks, farmers and fighting cocks. You will also have free time to enjoy breakfast. - In addition, those interested can also independently explore the Okuka Museum of Paleontology. - We will then head towards Perdido Canyon. Along the way, we will stop to contemplate beautiful natural landscapes, such as the Callango or Delfin Apirals. - We will also stop at the Pampa de las Rocas, where we will observe unique formations such as toads, horse heads, turtles or chihuahuas. You will have the opportunity to take pictures of the emblematic Magic Eye. - We will continue our journey to visit the nature reserve of the Extraviados Canyon.
After a brief explanation about its formation, you will be able to take pictures from the edge. We will also take a walk along the mouth of the ravine, right at the confluence of the Icas and Seko rivers. During this tour, we will see different specimens of local fauna, such as owls, chickens or lizards. - Finally, we will arrive at the natural pool to take pictures and then we will return to Ica.
