Take a seat on a chair, get your bottle of sugary liquid, stick your index finger out and wait for a hummingbird to perch on your finger for a drink from the bottle, as you tilt it forward. Feel that tingling sensation as its claws grip your finger while fluttering its wings at high speeds for balance before settling down on your finger to drink. Experience the rivalry of the Streamer tailed hummingbirds as they chase each other away for a drink from the bottle. The smaller species known as the Mango will hover over your finger and drink from the bottle but will not sit on your finger.

Marveled at the Black-faced grassquit and the Yello-faced grassquit as they perch on your lap or on the ground near you eating birdseeds. See the Ground doves and other species of birds feeding on the ground of just flying from tree to ground and back. Explore the property on foot with your guide as he takes you around the property to see other larger birds such as the Jamaican Owl, along with other migrant birds that have flown thousands of miles each year from Canada and the USA.

Enjoy the breathtaking view of the town of Montego Bay from high up, on a patio where you can also sit and watch birds such as the Jamaican Oriole using the feeders. The Common Ground-Dove and Caribbean Dove can be seen around the gardens, looking for the seed provided in the sanctuary.
