Find out the process of rice growing in Vietnam, from farm to table, with a full-day private experience outside of Hanoi. Learn how to cultivate rice in the fields and understand the challenges of Vietnamese farmers.

Your day begins with a bike ride through the countryside. Travel past the rice paddies, enjoying the fresh air and surrounding nature. Then arrive at the home of a local farmer and find out more about daily life. Enjoy a cup of tea and then put on your farming clothes. Then you will head out into the muddy rice fields.

In the fields, learn about the process of growing wet rice from your guide. Watch the farmer using the cow plough and discover more about the water system. Then transplant baby wet rice in the fields.

Afterward, you will have the opportunity to meet a local family who owns a garden, fish pond. Then return to the home of the farmer, where you will enjoy a traditional rice meal, accompanied by a cold beer or soft drink, before heading back to Hanoi.
