The itinerary
DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU (LUNCH, DINNER)
07:30: Bus and guide will pick you up from the Old Quarter.
10:00: Stop at Thung Khe Pass to take photos and enjoy the majestic mountainous scenery of Hoa Binh.
11:30: Arrive at Ban Lac for a traditional lunch in a stilt house of the White Thai people. Rest before starting your Mai Chau exploration with the guide.
14:00-16:00: Participate in a biking tour of Mai Chau Valley. Visit small stilt houses of the Thai people to learn about their unique cultural practices and customs. Cycle through fields and villages. The guide will take you to visit traditional handicraft stalls and learn how the Thai people weave their fabrics. You can also purchase these special souvenirs as mementos or gifts for loved ones.
16:00-18:00: Free time for biking, shopping, and taking souvenir photos.
18:00: Dinner at a traditional Thai house, enjoying ethnic dishes.
19:30: Watch and participate in traditional Thai dance and singing, and try the local rice wine.

DAY 2: DISCOVER MAI CHAU – PU LUONG (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER)
07:30-08:00: Wake up to enjoy the sunrise and the serene atmosphere before having a light breakfast.
08:30-10:30: The guide will take you to explore the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. In the local language, Pu Luong means the highest peak in the region. Pu Luong is recognized for its significant scientific, economic, social, and tourism value due to its diverse ecosystem. Visit a small Thai village, hike, and explore caves.
12:00: Arrive at Ban Hang to rest and have lunch.
13:00-14:00: Continue exploring the Pu Luong Nature Reserve.
17:00: Return to Ban Lac.
18:00: Enjoy delicious Vietnamese cuisine and overnight stay in Mai Chau.

DAY 3: TREKKING IN BAN XAM PA – NA MEO – NA MO (BREAKFAST, LUNCH)
07:30-08:00: Breakfast before continuing the Mai Chau journey.
08:00: Trek with the guide to explore the villages of Na Meo, Na Mo, and Xam Pa, discovering the traditional cultural aspects of the local people. These are beautiful and pristine villages in Mai Chau.
12:00: Return to Ban Lac for lunch.
14:00: Bid farewell to Mai Chau and board the vehicle to return to Hanoi.
17:30-18:00: Arrive back at the Old Quarter of Hanoi, concluding the tour.
