Orlando: Bioluminescence Clear Kayaking or Paddleboarding Bioluminescence Clear Kayak or Paddleboard Tour

Explore the natural beauty of the Indian River Lagoon as you paddle through glowing bioluminescent plankton with stars overhead. Experience some of nature's most interesting wildlife.
2 Tour times every evening! Our default vessel is a Clear Double Kayak. If you prefer a Clear Single Kayak, or a paddleboard, please call us with your vessel preference after booking.

8pm Sunset & bioluminescence Tour:
Let our friendly guides lead you on an amazing evening paddle board or kayak adventure. After a lesson on paddling, we'll head into a gorgeous sunset to Horseshoe Crab Island.

We'll beach our vessels and explore the island while enjoying a beautiful sunset. We'll walk out on the sandbar searching for horseshoe crabs, fish, and stingrays. We'll kick our feet through the bioluminescence and cup the star filled waters in our hands while enjoying the shallow waters. You may choose to make "glow angels" in the water! Our guides will take gorgeous photos of your group to share with you after the tour ends.

After sunset, we'll paddle into the night and view the stars overhead. The dinoflagellates plankton bioluminescence illuminates the water below us as we paddle through the water. We often paddle through "mullet storms" while hundreds of small fish jump around your vessels. We often see dolphins and occasionally manatees!

10:30pm Bioluminescence & Stargazing:
At this launch time, it is very dark and the stars shine bright against the night sky, as the bioluminescence illuminates the water as we paddle through it. Our friendly guides will give instruction and set you up for the adventure. We recommend downloading a star gazing app and to view the constellations above. Enjoy the stars in the water and in the sky the entire time on this tour!

For both tour times:
We highly recommend enjoying this adventure on one of our sturdy Clear Kayaks or paddleboards. Paddleboards give you an amazing vantage point for seeing what is going on underneath you. You can also sit on the paddleboards if you like and enjoy the water from a closer vantage point. 95% or our guests have never been paddleboarding before. This is an extremely beginner friendly tour. However, this tour is amazing with our Clear Kayaks as well! There is no wrong choice on this tour.

We end the tour in the same location that we started. Your tour guides will share pictures with you after your adventure.

Allow 2 hours for this experience. Meet up is 30 minutes prior to departure time. We will do a brief safety lesson on shore. You are guaranteed 1.5 hours of water time.
