3 Days Kibale Chimp and Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari

This 3 Day Safari takes you to Kibale Forest NP for Chimp trekking which is our main attraction and Queen Elizabeth for a cruise on the water of Kazinga channel that joins two Lakes Edward and George.
This 3 Day Uganda safari that will take you to Kibale Forest NP for Chimp trekking which is the main attraction. It also involves optional bird watching, a nature walk through the Bigodi Swamp area, a visit to a community in the area, and Queen Elizabeth gives opportunity to cruise on the water of Kazinga channel that joins two Lakes Edward and George. A game drive in Queen Elizabeth also creates chances of sighting lions, leopards, hyenas, savannah elephants and many bird species.

Day 1:

We will depart from you' Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and head westwards to Fort Portal town. The drive will take about 4 -5 hours. We will have lunch in Fort Portal and continue to Kibale where you will go for either a community walk or visit the beautiful Crater lakes region for a spectacular view. Dinner and overnight will be at your reserved lodge

Day 2:

After breakfast you will report at the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre at 08.00 am for a briefing before trekking the chimps in the forest. The park is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates and animals as well as birds, and a variety of butterflies, and other insects.

Your Assigned Sarit Gorilla Safaris Guide/Driver will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National park, In the afternoon you will take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel to see, at close range, the water animals to include Hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles and elephants bathing on the channel banks. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana.

Day 3:

You’ll have breakfast and check out of your lodge, drive via Nyamununka Crater Lake to Kasenyi for a game drive with expectations of sighting lions, leopards, herds of elephants, Uganda kobs, various birds and another crater lake Bunyampaka. Drive out of the park and start the return journey to Kampala via Mbarara where you will stop for lunch at the Equator and proceed to Entebbe. We appreciate choosing Sarit Gorilla Safaris.
