Embark on a 3-day chimpanzee tracking adventure from Entebbe. Drive to Kibale National Park, trek through the rainforest in search of chimpanzees, and visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.

On the first day, drive from Entebbe to Kibale National Park. The journey takes approximately 5-6 hours, offering picturesque views of Uganda's diverse landscapes. Along the way, see the lush green countryside, with rolling hills, and local villages.

On the second day, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the experienced rangers. During this briefing, learn about the park's chimpanzee population, the tracking process, and important guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful encounter with the primates.

The tracking itself can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours, as you follow trails through the lush rainforest in search of the chimpanzee families. As you trek, have the opportunity to spot other wildlife and a variety of bird species.

Once you locate a group of chimpanzees, have a magical hour to observe them in their natural habitat, witnessing their social interactions, playful behavior, and unique personalities up close. After the chimpanzee tracking, return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, there is an optional activity to visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This community-run project is a haven for bird watchers and nature lovers, offering a chance to see diverse bird species, butterflies, and primates.

The guided walk through the wetland takes about 2 hours and provides an enriching experience of the area's unique biodiversity and conservation efforts. After the walk, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

On the final day, begin the return journey from Kibale to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive through Uganda's picturesque landscapes, including villages, tea plantations, and rolling hills. Arrive in Entebbe in the early afternoon.
